Business Development Manager

Who we are looking for

Sentimoto is looking for an enthusiastic Business Developer to join our growing team and lead on partnerships and community management. Our plans are to engage Local Authorities and non-profit organisations to complement their wellbeing schemes and grow our user base. The ideal candidate has prior experience in working with the public or non-profit sector and in building a community around health. Prior experience in sales or partnership building is also desirable.

Job description

The candidate would be working in close contact with the CEO and UX Lead, creating partnerships with Local Authorities and other related organisations to help grow the user base for our wellbeing application and complement existing preventative schemes. The candidate would also work to build a physical and digital community around the application, organising or attending community events in London and building a network of organisations that can help support further growth.


£20-£30k. Full time.


  • 3+ years relevant work experience within a Partnerships / Business Development role with a proven track record of building and implementing such partnerships;
  • An outstanding relationship builder and manager;
  • Proven track record in Business Development creating fast revenue growth by strategically creating and managing partnership activities;
  • Experience of delivering growth through collaborative partnership marketing campaigns;
  • The natural ability to identify strategic mutual objectives, translate those into innovative partnership activity and execution to produce the best results;
  • Passionate about working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial growth company;
  • Proactive, innovative, creative;
  • Demonstrated social media management skills;
  • Extensive professional or personal network in public sector (Local Authorities, non-profits, or NHS) a plus;
  • Experience owning and managing partnership contracts a plus;
  • Extensive experience in driving contract negotiations a plus;


  • Identify, cultivate, and execute channel partnerships that will acquire new Sentimoto users and enhance our brand
  • Identify and outreach for local sponsorship/ad partners (in-app ads)
  • Identify and outreach for local event sponsorship/partners
  • Organize Sentimoto events
  • Identify and develop relationships with local influencers
