The app

Following on from a public health programme pilot,digital health engagement company Sentimoto is promoting a mobile wellbeing application for Staffordshire.

The My Kin app aims to help encourage positive lifestyle change by promoting wellbeing resources, such as physical and social activities available in the community and online assessment tools, and by providing feedback on personal lifestyle measures.

To join, you will need to:

  • Own a phone that runs Android
  • Be Aged 40+
  • Be based in Staffordshire

How it works

1 – The application will occasionally prompt you to ‘self-assess’ your health through trusted NHS tools.

2 – You will receive activity and event suggestions in your local area that could support you in improving your health – think yoga, running groups, volunteering opportunities, and much more!

3 – The app helps you keep track of factors that contribute to good health. Four wellbeing indicators provide personal lifestyle insights and any changes over time.

To learn from your experience we would love to hear any feedback throughout the pilot and will ask you to complete a short survey at the end.
